Moving Forward in Faith, One First Down at a Time
The First Down Faith Foundation was created by brothers Noah Fifita and Dash Fifita in April of 2025 to honor the legacy of those who came before them, especially the faith and strength of family that inspired its beginning.
Noah, a quarterback at the University of Arizona, and Dash, a linebacker at the University of Arizona, founded the organization together as a way to use their platform to share their faith and give back to the community that has supported them both on and off the field.
They believe that football is more than a game. It is a platform to live out faith, serve others, and build something lasting. The First Down Faith Foundation is committed to walking in faith, leading with love, and making a meaningful impact beyond the field.
The foundation carries out this mission through community service initiatives, youth mentorship opportunities, youth camps, faith-based speaking engagements, and partnerships with local organizations and schools. Through these efforts, Noah and Dash work directly with young people and families, creating space for candid conversations about faith, life, and personal growth while encouraging strong values, building confidence, and providing guidance rooted in faith and personal responsibility.
At its core, the foundation’s mission is to create first downs in life. These first downs represent new starts, new opportunities, and new pathways forward so that every generation can carry the torch of faith, hope, and resilience. Because drawing closer to your faith does not require grand gestures. It begins with a single first down.
The Legacy & Vision Behind The First Down Faith Foundation
Noah Fifita
Noah Fifita was born and raised in Southern California, where faith, family, and football shaped his path from an early age. Now the starting quarterback at the University of Arizona, Noah is known not only for his leadership on the field but also for his humility, compassion, and heart for others.
The inspiration behind his journey and the First Down Faith Foundation comes from his grandparents. Their faith, resilience, and love for family continue to guide Noah’s life and leadership. To him, their example is a reminder that true legacy is not measured in wins or accolades but in how deeply you impact the lives of others.
Through the foundation, Noah helps carry that legacy forward by supporting youth and communities as they take meaningful steps of faith. His mission is to help create spaces for mentorship, inspire resilience, and remind the next generation that every first down in faith matters.
Dash Fifita
Dash Fifita grew up in Southern California in a family where faith, hard work, and loyalty to one another were at the center of everyday life. Those values shaped the way he approaches both football and life. Now a linebacker at the University of Arizona, Dash is known for his toughness and intensity on the field, balanced by a strong sense of responsibility to serve others off of it.
Dash believes that the influence athletes have extends far beyond the game. For him, football has always been an opportunity to represent something bigger than himself. The lessons passed down through his family, especially the example set by his grandparents, instilled in him the importance of staying grounded, supporting your community, and leading with integrity.
As a co-founder of the First Down Faith Foundation, Dash is passionate about creating opportunities for young people to grow in confidence, character, and faith. He hopes to show the next generation that leadership is not just about what you achieve, but about how you show up for others and use your platform to make a difference.
